At ReadingMart, we want you to feel confident about every purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with your order, you may request a return according to the policy below.

Return Window

You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

In the same condition that you received them

Unused and undamaged

In their original packaging, if applicable

Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase

Books must be returned in readable and resalable condition. Items that show excessive wear, damage, or missing parts may not be eligible for a refund.

Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for:

Gift cards

Final sale items

Items that show signs of heavy use or damage not caused during shipping

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can resolve the issue.

We may offer a replacement, refund, or other appropriate solution depending on the situation.

How to Start a Return

Once your return request is approved, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your item. Items returned without prior authorization may not be accepted.

Return Shipping

If the return is due to our error (for example, incorrect or damaged items), we will cover the return shipping cost.

If the return is due to customer preference, the customer is responsible for the return shipping fees.

Shipping costs from the original order are non-refundable.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the refund status.

If approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Please note that processing time may vary depending on your bank or credit card provider.

Exchanges

If you would like a different item, the easiest way is to return the original item and place a new order.
